Recess 1.0.0

Download Recess.dmg below, open it and drag Recess to Applications. Requires macOS 14 or later (Apple Silicon or Intel).

First launch

This build isn't notarized by Apple yet, so macOS blocks it the first time:

1. Open Recess. When macOS says it can't verify the app, click Done.
2. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll to Security and click Open Anyway next to Recess.
3. Confirm with your password or Touch ID, then click Open.

You only need to do this once. Prefer the Terminal? xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Recess.app
