SiteEdit v1.0.5
SiteEdit 1.0.5 makes selectors sturdier. Saved data from 1.0.4 keeps working.
Changes
- Readable classes used only once (e.g.
mw-page-container) are now kept and used as anchors, so injected banners no longer shiftbody > div:nth-of-type(N)selectors. - Selectors no longer end on a bare positional top step. They climb to a class, attribute or id anchor instead.
- Attribute values (
data-testid,name,aria-label…) are checked for hashes before use, e.g.iframe[name="offer-0-6ybzf"]is no longer used. - MediaWiki ids: named ones like
mw-content-textandmw-panelare treated as stable. Parsoid, numeric and hash ids (mwAg,mw-1234,toc-mw-xyz123) are rejected. - Bogus timestamps in imported files are normalized, so the Manager no longer shows "Invalid Date".

SiteEdit v1.0.4
SiteEdit lets you visually customize any website without code.
What's new in 1.0.4
- Styles picked on a list or table item stay on that item. They no longer spread to items the page adds later, and the panel shows a note explaining this.
- Ids with random suffixes (for example
offer-0-xFLa6) and more camelCase hash class names are no longer used in selectors, so saved styles survive site rebuilds better. - Saved data from earlier versions keeps working.
