Update Config

  • To update the config, open Canvas.cfg in any text editor
  • To fully reset, delete Canvas.cfg

Rubrics:

  • In the past, I maintained a remote source of rubrics that the program sources from
  • There is an optional setting to link to a remote source of rubrics
    • Leave it empty if you wish to source rubrics locally
    • If you wish to host your own remote source of rubrics, check out Rubric Repo Demo
      • If you are using the same rubrics from Spring 2024, you can use https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Nexumi/rubric-repo-demo/main/
  • If you are sourcing your rubrics locally:
    • Place rubric within the same location as the script
    • You can create a folder for the rubrics if you would like, the script will search through every file in the current and sub folders
    • Rubrics are detected by having a file name that starts with Assignment- or Exam- and ends with -Rubric.xlsx
    • This also means that you can customize the default state of the rubric

Note:

  • Chrome might block the download
  • Each operating system will probably give you some sort of warning about running an unknown file. If you trust, please proceed. If you do not trust, do not use. You can download the source file directly and run it directly using Python3 if you know how.

MacOS Warning:

  • If you have used Release (Spring 2024), there was a bug that caused CanvasToken.cfg to be created at ~
    • If there is a CanvasToken.cfg at ~ you should delete it
