PokerVector v1.0.0 — Poker Hand History Engine for MCP

Choose a tag to compare

@NiCrook NiCrook released this 09 Mar 07:18

What is PokerVector?

PokerVector is a poker hand history engine exposed as an MCP server. Import hand histories from online poker clients, and query them with semantic search and aggregate stats from any MCP-compatible AI client (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, etc.). You bring your own LLM — PokerVector serves the data.

Features

Hand History Parsing

  • AmericasCardroom (ACR / WPN) parser covering cash games, tournaments, antes, side pots, split pots, and multi-word player names
  • Supports Hold'em, Omaha H/L, 5-Card Omaha, and 7-Card Stud H/L across No Limit, Pot Limit, and Fixed Limit
  • Bomb pot detection, partial card reveals, and stud street handling

Dual-Vector Embedding & Storage

  • BGE-small-en-v1.5 embedding model running locally via ONNX Runtime — no API keys needed
  • Two named vectors per hand: summary (natural language) and action (structured betting sequence)
  • LanceDB embedded database — no Docker or external services required
  • Action sequence encoding with BB-normalized sizing and pot-fraction postflop

54 MCP Tools

  • Search — semantic search, action-pattern search, and similar-hand lookup
  • Stats — 25+ aggregate stats (VPIP, PFR, 3-bet%, c-bet, steal, WWSF, bb/100, and more)
  • Sessions — session detection, review, and notable hand identification
  • Villains — opponent tracking with key stat summaries
  • Spots, Export, Tournament, Advanced analysis tools

CLI

  • pokervector scan — auto-detect installed poker clients and accounts
  • pokervector add-account — manually register account directories
  • pokervector import — parse, embed, and store hand histories
  • pokervector status — view config and database info
  • pokervector mcp — start the MCP server

Account & Config Management

  • Persistent config at ~/.pokervector/config.toml
  • Data stored in ~/.pokervector/data/ (LanceDB, zero configuration)
  • Auto-detection of ACR accounts from install directories
  • Zero-arg workflows: import and mcp work automatically after initial scan

Quick Start

pokervector scan # discover accounts
pokervector import # import hand histories
pokervector mcp # start MCP server
