Prysm 0.3
Prysm 0.3: an arpeggiator, a 303-style step sequencer, MIDI clock sync and more.
Install: the web installer (Chrome or Edge), or python3 tools/fm1_install.py prysm-0.3.fwsc. Manual: docs/MANUAL.md. Your saved patches carry over.
New
- Sequencer (SEQ): up to 64 steps, drawn as squares; each step a note, a rest or an accent, and 303-style slides (the note held into the next step, gliding there with no new attack). REC + a key enters a note at the cursor and moves on. PLAY runs it.
- Arpeggiator (ARP; ARP again turns it on): UP, DOWN, UPDN, RAND, ORDER; 1/4 .. 1/32 with triplets; 1 .. 4 octaves; gate (to tied), swing, latch; 40 .. 240 BPM.
- MIDI clock sync for the arpeggiator and the sequencer: each step lands on its tick to within a third of a millisecond; START / STOP / CONTINUE; the tempo shown.
- MIDI channels: IN (OMNI or 1 .. 16) and OUT, on the new SETUP page (GLO twice).
- Glide (portamento), always or legato (MIX page).
- Velocity from MIDI, to level, cutoff and FM brightness (AMP page). The FM-1's own keys play at full velocity.
- Oscilloscope on HOME: left and right, locked to the newest note, auto-zoom.
- PRESETS is now the filter cutoff, on every page.
Changed
- PLAY runs the sequencer; the arpeggiator is turned on with ARP pressed on its page.
