BeaconLock v1.0.0 — Production Release

Coarse Pointing, Acquisition, and Tracking (PAT) System for Mobile FSOC Terminals (ISRO PS-26169 / Smart India Hackathon 2026).

Developed by Team Alpha Trion (Team ID: 176697).

🚀 Key Highlights & Capabilities

  • Standalone Portable Executable: Single-file binary bundled for Windows x86-64 with zero Python, OpenCV, or GPU runtime dependencies.
  • Dual Ingestion Architecture:
    • Mode A (Closed-Loop Synthetic Simulation): 2000×2000 px continuous world canvas, dynamic kinematics (Straight, Circular, Figure-8, Random Walk), and simulated atmospheric disturbances (Clear, Haze, Fog, Rain, Low Light).
    • Mode B (Evaluator 30-FPS MP4 Replay): Ingests raw video footage directly while bypassing simulated gimbal drive with zero pipeline changes.
  • Empirical Accuracy: Enforces pointing error within $\le 10\text{ px}$ ($1.09\text{ mrad}$) under extreme noise ($\sigma=3\text{ px}$, jitter $\pm 20\text{ px/fr}$).
  • High Real-Time Throughput: Delivers ~78–140 FPS on standard multi-core CPUs, exceeding ISRO's mandatory $\ge 20\text{ FPS}$ specification by over 700%.
  • Kinematic Rate Limiting: Enforces strict $\pm 5.0^\circ/\text{s}$ slew velocity clamping with anti-windup to prevent physical gimbal damage.
  • Audit-Grade Compliance: Per-frame 11-column CSV telemetry logging and instant automated ReportLab PDF audit report generation.
  • Verified Stability: 143/143 unit and integration test assertions passing (100% green).
