Built locally with production settings from the pinned source. The same verified ZIPs are published without rebuilding. Build provenance records the source, checksums, completed checks, and verification limits.

Built locally with Beta settings from the clean, pinned source commit. Both network builds and TypeScript checks, 605 core tests, WASM integrity checks, and ZIP validation passed. The actual mainnet ZIP passed an isolated MV3 recipient review check at 375 × 600. Its quote response was intercepted locally; live swap execution was not tested. Checksums and local build provenance are attached.

Existing verification limits: cross-restart transaction recovery and automatic resend are not included. The previously reported funded Shield Funds stall has not been fully reproduced or verified as resolved.

Built locally with Beta settings from the clean, pinned source commit. Both network builds, 605 deterministic core tests, WASM integrity checks, ZIP validation, and isolated MV3 smoke checks passed. Package checksums and local build provenance are attached. This is a local build; no Actions artifact or candidate promotion is claimed.

Known verification limits: closing the browser during transaction preparation can still leave a Preparing transaction record; cross-restart recovery and automatic resend are not included. The originally reported long-running Shield Funds stall with a funded wallet has not been fully reproduced or verified as resolved. The synchronization pause fix has three deterministic regression tests.

This Beta includes the recent V2 regression fixes and transaction-flow improvements merged in #34, alongside the earlier multichain, invite activation, and Ledger updates.

Recent fixes and improvements

Wallet, balances, and Activity

• Improved recovery from interrupted Zcash sync and invalid wallet snapshots, background catch-up, and resync. Restored V1-compatible read-only background scanning and failure backoff.
• Keep unknown balances distinct from zero, retain cached balances during refresh or network failures, and show pending ZEC in both transparent and shielded balances.
• Update Addresses, QR codes, and Swap receive selections when the active shielded address changes, including rotation, reselection, and restart persistence.
• Reserve additional gas headroom for native EVM Max transfers and swaps, and preserve exact transaction amounts during preparation.
• Load older EVM history across pages and filter zero-value token events without hiding real transfers. Improve Public/Confidential transfer amounts, recipients, privacy labels, and transaction timestamps.
• Improve failed-transaction retry and replacement actions, cross-chain status recovery, and navigation from View Activity to the relevant transaction.

Swap and Lending

• Respect enabled networks and the selected Public, Confidential, or Zcash funding source when resolving Swap assets and balances. Preserve manual selections while catalogs load.
• Selecting the asset already chosen on the opposite side now reverses an editable pair, clears the previous amount and quote, and saves the new pair while retaining the execution-account mode.
• Fix Max amount adjustments, stale quotes and fees, and destination-address recognition. Bind Zcash submissions to their saved quote and check its deadline before transaction construction.
• Resume cross-chain monitoring and reporting after recoverable startup, persistence, or chain failures, and retain recovery actions for failed swaps.
• Correct Lending token quantities and USD valuations using each asset's precision, including ZEC, USDC.e, and rNEAR, and invalidate outdated cached displays.

Transaction review and interface

• Show preparation skeletons inside transaction review instead of a separate Preparing transfer page. Broadcasting requires explicit confirmation; failed preparation shows an inline error with an icon and Retry text action.
• Remove duplicated progress banners and use consistent loading, pending, success, and failure icons on transaction steps. Preserve the startup initialization overlay and hardware interaction stages.
• Apply shared quantity, fiat, and price formatting with appropriate precision. Keep transfer inputs exact and avoid large-number abbreviations in the affected financial displays.
• Use consistent native ETH token artwork across From, To, and asset selectors, with separate network badges.
• Match Block Explorer settings to RPC selection, with network-scoped presets and custom explorers. Bitcoin, Solana, and NEAR presets are available only in explicitly enabled verification profiles.
• Remove generic incomplete-details banners and empty recipient rows, simplify asset-loading errors, collapse empty price charts, and move Voting refresh to the header while preserving retry controls.

Hardware, activation, and reporting

• Streamline Ledger connection and signing preparation, and fix approved Ledger signing requests being read through the wrong endpoint.
• Keep Beta activation retries and code replacement in the existing setup or unlock flow so a service failure does not discard the wallet.
• Centralize asynchronous reporting in the background with shared operation mapping, bounded retries, and privacy filtering. Remove copy, account-switch, and wallet-lock events from the event catalog.

Beta scope

• Zcash and supported EVM networks are enabled, with isolated global Mainnet/Testnet modes. Bitcoin, Solana, and NEAR wallet operations remain Coming soon.
• The package includes Swap access configuration and requires invite-code activation.
• V2 also includes 12-word and 24-word recovery phrase setup, encrypted EVM private-key import/export, and unified Assets, Addresses, Send, Receive, Activity, Swap, and Lending views.

Verification and package

• This exact package passed 357 core tests, extension and History Worker type checks, packaged WASM integrity checks, and checks excluding test-only surfaces.
• Real MV3 installation, provider discovery, Beta invite gating, Mainnet default, and popup layout checks passed.
• Broader UI and recovery checks during development used isolated extensions, unfunded test wallets, and controlled services. This does not represent fresh acceptance of every original-wallet report, production Dashboard metric, or real hardware flow; no real-funds broadcast or physical Ledger/Keystone verification was performed.
• All three uploaded assets were downloaded and verified against their local files before publication.

Added

• Add a default-enabled ZeroIndexer toggle under Security & Privacy. Transactions containing Orchard try the configured ZeroIndexer broadcast endpoints in order and fall back to the ordinary wallet RPC if every attempt fails, across software and hardware signing flows.
• Add a separate ZeroIndexer node manager with automatic official-node selection, fixed node selection, custom nodes, and read-only network and reachability checks. Keep node choices per network and preserve them when broadcasting is disabled.

Changed

• Keep synchronization, compact-block CDN downloads, history, and confirmation queries on their existing providers. Remove ZeroIndexer from the synchronization RPC list.
• Align Available balance with transaction selection at three confirmations. Activity continues to show external incoming transfers as pending until ten confirmations.
• Build PR previews automatically and separate production candidate construction from publication of the accepted ZIPs. Verify the committed WASM package during builds and require explicit package updates.

Fixed

• Migrate ZeroIndexer synchronization preferences from the earlier beta back to ordinary automatic RPC selection while preserving other explicitly selected providers and the broadcast preference.
• Refresh spendable balances after wallet reload and catch-up sync, keep Max current when available funds change, and distinguish pending funds, insufficient balance, and fee failures.
• Recover missing transparent recipients from unambiguous matching transaction outputs, preserve known recipients during history refresh, and avoid labeling unknown recipients as shielded.
• Read wallet snapshot manifests and chunks in one IndexedDB transaction to prevent concurrent saves from causing false missing-chunk errors. Abort failed writes and retain the previous snapshot when serialization or persistence fails.
• Retry snapshot integrity checks in a fresh transaction before recommending Resync. Reserve that recovery path for confirmed incomplete or corrupt snapshots rather than transient initialization, balance, or sync failures.
• Include privacy-redacted original error details with formatted failures so support screenshots retain the actionable cause.
