This wiki targets BetaMoon 0.9.0.
Check Releases for published builds and their versions.
BetaMoon adds Lua scripting for custom blocks, items, fluids, recipes, world generation and interactive machines. Scripts can also react to events and change registered content through overrides.
- Install BetaMoon
- Install scripts.
- Create your first script.
- Set up completion and API documentation in VS Code.
- Browse the Lua API reference for signatures, fields and focused examples.
- Find working scripts in the example index.
- Read the changelog for release changes and upgrade notes.
Reload and compatibility explains how script changes are applied and how persistent content is retained. Troubleshooting covers installation, script errors and common registration problems.
The sidebar groups the API by topic. Each reference page links to related types and relevant example scripts.
