  • Switches to the twitter-text library for detecting URLs and hashtags when creating rich text for Bluesky.
    • This should solve all remaining issues with URL detection.
    • As there is no twitter-text version for .NET, this was accomplished through a small Node application that exposes specific twitter-text APIs over REST endpoints.
    • If you are upgrading from an older version, you will need to perform some upgrade steps to ensure that Bluesky posting continues to work correctly.
      • The docker-compose.yml file must include the container for the Node app.
      • The config.json file for the Core must have the base URL for the Node app.
      • Check the setup section in the README for detailed examples.
  • Adds the BlueBirdDX.Api library for interacting with the WebApp with other .NET programs.
    • Use the BlueBirdClient to upload media and enqueue new threads.
    • Check the README for more information on how to use this library.
    • An older library, BlueBirdDX.PublicApi, was mistakenly published between versions 3.0.0 and 3.1.0.
      • This library does not include any usable APIs.
      • If you are using it in any of your projects for whatever reason, please remove it, as it has been deleted from GitHub.
  • Implements a status check for every Threads media container before attempting to publish one.
    • PostThreadManager now waits up to 60 seconds for media containers to become ready.
    • This timeout also applies to publishing a container. PostThreadManager will wait until a media container is published before attempting to create the next reply in the thread.
    • This should eliminate all "requested resource does not exist" errors.
    • The artificial timeouts added in 3.0.2 and 3.1.0 have been removed.
  • Implements retrying API calls to Twitter, Bluesky, Mastodon, and Threads.
    • All calls will be retried up to 3 times on failure with a 5 second delay between retries, with the delay linearly increasing with each retry.
    • This should mostly eliminate exceptions caused by one-off server errors.
  • Adds support for setting alt text on images when uploading to Threads.
  • Adds the ability to create a copy of a specific thread.
  • Slightly revamps the Index page's threads table to allow for multiple actions to be listed per thread.
  • Adds the ability to jump up to the top and bottom of the page on the Index and Media Gallery pages.
  • Adds a New Thread button to the bottom of the Index page.
  • Adds an Upload button to the bottom of the Media Gallery page.
  • Increases the timeout for the quoted tweet page to load in AttachmentCache to 30 seconds.
  • Adds the Polly library for retries and timeouts.
  • Updates all projects to .NET 8.
  • Updates the Airship library to 2.3.1.
  • Updates the Unravel library to 1.2.0.
