The commit f8fb5fb (cc: @binson-xu) introduced hotdog device support which "added" following files:
image

Sadly it only "added" them as they are nowhere to be found and are needed for building a working dtbo.img. I was able to write my own .dts for production OnePlus 7T Pro unit but I think it'd be nice if me and possibly others wouldn't have to resort to doing that kind of stuff.

Also here's my .dts for those that need it:

The token variable in the process_dynamic_array_len function is
allocated in the read_expect_type function, but is not freed before
calling the read_token function.

Free the token variable before calling read_token in order to plug the
leak.

After bisection, it was found the first bad commit is bd4c82c ("mm,
THP, swap: delay splitting THP after swapped out").

The root cause is as follows:

When the pages are written to swap device during swapping out in
swap_writepage(), zswap (fontswap) is tried to compress the pages to
improve performance. But zswap (frontswap) will treat THP as a normal
page, so only the head page is saved. After swapping in, tail pages
will not be restored to their original contents, causing memory
corruption in the applications.

This is fixed by refusing to save page in the frontswap store functions
if the page is a THP. So that the THP will be swapped out to swap
device.

Another choice is to split THP if frontswap is enabled. But it is found
that the frontswap enabling isn't flexible. For example, if
CONFIG_ZSWAP=y (cannot be module), frontswap will be enabled even if
zswap itself isn't enabled.

Frontswap has multiple backends, to make it easy for one backend to
enable THP support, the THP checking is put in backend frontswap store
functions instead of the general interfaces.

commit 5d388fa01fa6eb310ac023a363a6cb216d9d8fe9 upstream.

If a cell has 'nbits' equal to a multiple of BITS_PER_BYTE the logic

 *p &= GENMASK((cell->nbits%BITS_PER_BYTE) - 1, 0);

will become undefined behavior because nbits modulo BITS_PER_BYTE is 0, and we
subtract one from that making a large number that is then shifted more than the
number of bits that fit into an unsigned long.

UBSAN reports this problem:

elginsk8r pushed a commit to elginsk8r/android_kernel_oneplus_sm8150 that referenced this issue Jul 17, 2022
commit 42252d0d2aa9b94d168241710a761588b3959019 upstream.

This patch fixes an invalid read showed by KASAN. A unlock will allocate a
"struct plock_op" and a followed send_op() will append it to a global
send_list data structure. In some cases a followed dev_read() moves it
to recv_list and dev_write() will cast it to "struct plock_xop" and access
fields which are only available in those structures. At this point an
invalid read happens by accessing those fields.

To fix this issue the "callback" field is moved to "struct plock_op" to
indicate that a cast to "plock_xop" is allowed and does the additional
"plock_xop" handling if set.

Example of the KASAN output which showed the invalid read:

Add a simple check that avoids incrementing a pointer by zero, but
otherwise behaves as before. Note that our findings are against ACPICA

Make sure to return a proper negative error code from copy_process()
when anon_inode_getfile() fails with CLONE_PIDFD.
Otherwise _do_fork() will not detect an error and get_task_pid() will
operator on a nonsensical pointer:
