Open 3D Viewer — Free viewer for Revit, SketchUp, Tekla and more
Someone sent you a model? Open 3D Viewer opens Revit, SketchUp, Tekla, glTF, OBJ, STL and PLY without the program that made them. Turn it, cut it open with a section box, pull it apart, measure it, read Revit schedules and save it as IFC 4. Free and open source (LGPL-3.0), on the desktop and in the browser. Revit opens in the Windows desktop build.

Add NSIS installer, i18n, app icon, feedback dialog, and upgrade all dependencies
Installer & file associations:
- Custom NSIS template with file association page (Common 3D, CAD/BIM, Scene, Other)
- Select All/Deselect All toggle, skips page in passive/update mode
- Registry-based file associations with shell open command
- Backend CLI arg handler emits open-file event to frontend on launch
- EXE-only target (no MSI), custom installer icon
App icon & branding:
- New "3D" logo on yellow-amber gradient (1024px master)
- All platform icons: ICO, ICNS, PNG (32-310px), Windows Store logos
- SVG favicon, MenuBar logo updated to match
Internationalization (i18n):
- i18next with browser language detection
- English and Dutch locale files (11 namespaces each)
- All UI strings extracted: ribbon, panels, menus, dialogs, status bar
New features:
- Feedback dialog with category selector and email support
- Axis indicator (XYZ gizmo) in viewport
- Z-up coordinate system for cameras and controls
- Walk mode scroll-wheel speed sync to store
- Persistent user preferences via tauri-plugin-store
