Metadata name/value pairs may exist within a well-defined vocabulary (i.e. RDF Resource). This thought came out of comparison between our enhancements to the experiment_context (#70 #51) part of evidence.

For example, an evidence "Status" may be more useful as a well-defined vocabulary that could be described and validated against. This has the following advantages:

  • Captured and described by the API resources (think /api/annotations, /api/namespaces).
  • URIs as value identifiers (structured vs. unstructured metadata values).

integrated bel.rb format deserialization into POST /evidence

updated evidence shema to include annotation and namespace references in
a "references" section

TODO work still needed to support structured metadata (refs #71)
