`BroadcastChannel("events")` keeps event loop running/breaks test/mocha does not exit

Sadly there is no property to check if the channel is closed.
Workaround/custom .close method:

const channel = new BroadcastChannel('test');
channel.isClosed = false;

channel.close = (function (originalClose) {
  return function () {
    this.isClosed = true;
    originalClose.call(this);
  };
})(channel.close);

console.log(channel.isClosed); // false
channel.close();
console.log(channel.isClosed); // true
