GRASP

Opensettlers is build and designed using object orientation. OpenSettlers tries to adhere to GRASP and SOLID principles.

WebSockets

  • WebSockets is very much in development, incompatibities may occur everywhere.
    • Chromium 6 works, but has issues
    • Chrome 7 works, no issues reported
    • Firefox 3.6.1 did not seem to work
    • Opera has a new build, 10.70, whih has alpha WebSockets support, untested
    • Opera < 10.60 does not have WebSocket support
    • Eclipse 3.5 uses Jetty 6, which has no WebSockets support
