??? debim v0.3.0 ? The Unified Architecture & Infrastructure Release

We are excited to announce debim v0.3.0, a major evolution expanding debim beyond structural modeling into complete 2D architectural blueprint drafting, full MEP distribution topology, civil infrastructure (IFC4.3), and automated MasterFormat architectural specification compilation.

1. ?? 2D Architectural Blueprint & DXF Export Engine

  • Horizontal & Vertical Section Slicing: Cut-plane slicing for floor plans and building sections (debim draw view).
  • 4-Direction Elevations: Automated North, South, East, and West architectural projections.
  • Standalone 2D Viewer: Interactive SVG blueprint viewer (�iewer_2d.html) with pan-zoom and measurement ruler.
  • AutoCAD DXF Export: Direct export into standard CAD layers (A-WALL, S-COLS, A-GRID, A-DOOR, A-WIND) via ezdxf (debim draw export-dxf).
  • Flexible Title Blocks: Configurable metadata, responsive typography, and Thai font support.

2. ? Full MEP Distribution Systems

  • HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical Fixtures: Full IFC4 coverage for air terminals, dampers, sanitary ware, lighting fixtures, and distribution boards.
  • Port-based Topology: Explicit port connectivity (IfcDistributionPort) and network graphs for MEP flow calculations.

  • Open Registry & Discrepancy Auditor: Detect discrepancies between 3D BIM elements and written specifications (debim spec audit).

5. ?? bSDD Validation & Universal Schema Registry

  • Automated Pset Validation: Integration with buildingSMART Data Dictionary (bSDD) for standardized property set compliance.
  • Universal Declarative Proxy: Fallback engine supporting extended IFC entity subtrees.

  • PyPI Release: Available via pip install -U debim
  • Windows Package Manager (WinGet): Automated packaging for standalone Windows binary (winget install debim).
  • Full Test Suite: 454 deterministic unit tests passing (100% pass rate).
