mention that "3" can be replaced with "4" etc. in the examples,
to not limit the article due to cultural bias,

Note that perlfaq is maintained upstream on CPAN: https://metacpan.org/release/perlfaq ... and then shipped with the core distribution. So any patches or pull requests coming out of a discussion of these issues will have to be filed upstream (probably here: https://github.com/perl-doc-cats/perlfaq/issues). Thank you very much.
