ASCII Saver v2.0.5
Fixed
A screen-configuration loop on macOS 27. ASCII Saver rebuilt its screensaver window about 30 times a second while the saver was up, and each rebuild tore down and reopened the camera.
macOS 27 sends an app a "the screen configuration changed" message when nothing about the display layout has actually changed. ASCII Saver rebuilt its windows whenever it got that message, and rebuilding a window causes the message to be sent again, so the app chased its own tail.
ASCII Saver now compares the actual display layout before it rebuilds. Showing a window does not move a display, so the rebuild no longer happens. A display genuinely connected, disconnected or moved is still picked up as before.
Your settings are unchanged. Earlier versions of macOS were not affected.
