Fixed
- Deploy declares its one secret,
PHALA_CLOUD_API_KEY(optional), so that an operator's
repository in another organisation can pass it from a repository secret: GitHub supports
secrets: inheritonly within an organisation or enterprise, and without it a called workflow's
Environment secret resolves empty (actions/runner#4453). v0.3.0 read only the Environment
secret, so every caller passing no secrets failed with an empty key. A caller in Phala-Network's
organisation passessecrets: inheritand keeps the key as the Environment's secret. An empty
key now fails with the setup each caller needs (docs/self-hosting.md, step 5, with the trade-off
of a repository secret). - Deploy runs when called at a release's annotated tag, not only pinned to its commit. A workflow
called at an annotated tag runs withjob.workflow_shathe tag object's SHA, so v0.3.0's Deploy,
called atv0.3.0, refused its own release ("Deploy runs at e42120e…, not v0.3.0's commit
659bd26…").deploy/verify-release.sh VERSION DIR CALLED_ATpeels the tag to its commit and
accepts either SHA. Pinning the commit SHA remains the recommendation. - Deploy's provision completes on the unsealed CVM it creates. Without the storage credentials
PostgreSQL refuses to start, so app-compose fails by design and Phala Cloud shows the CVM as
error; provision waited forrunningand timed out after 15 minutes, before the DNS records and
the sealing step. A provision now only creates the CVM: it waits until the CVM is settled
(in_progressfalse) with the new compose and has booted (an instance id), in any status
(deploy/phala-cvm.sh wait --unsealed), and redeploys the gateway's compose without the CLI's
--wait. It proves nothing about the CVM's health: the upgrade after the sealing is the acceptance
step, and still requiresrunning,/healthz, the attestation, and the certificate evidence. - An upgrade retries the certificate evidence every 30 seconds for at most 10 minutes instead of
failing at once: right after a DNS change the domain can still reach the previous instance, or the
new one can still be obtaining its certificate.deploy/verify-ingress-evidence.shbounds its TLS
handshake to 30 seconds. - Deploy names a new CVM after its run (
phala-pay-<environment>-<run id>,
phala-pay-staging-product-<run id>): Phala Cloud refuses a duplicate name (ERR-01-004), so a
provision beside a stopped CVM kept for rollback, as in a reset, failed. A CVM is identified by
its id variable, never by its name.
