There are more details on the mods on steam:
You can install the mods by Steam just by click on "subscribe".
To download the mods, you need to click on "Clone or download" and "Download ZIP". You can also download mods on Steam from http://steamworkshop.download/ 📥
If the mod is not on Steam and you want to manually install it, you can try this. Place the mods in the folder: Documents/Klei/OxygenNotIncluded/mods/local/ If the folder doesn't exist, create it.

On MAC, the path looks like: /Users/****(username)/Library/Application Support/unity.Klei.Oxygen Not Included/mods/?????????

Some mods are localizable and you can contribute to add your languages to my mods.
Only mods with a translations folder can contains translations (or I need to add one, can be done if needed)
Examples: src/ILoveSlicksters/translations
- Launch the game with the mods activated
- Search the mod strings template (.pot file) in: D:\Documents\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\mods\strings_templates
- Open and edit the file with POedit or an alternative
- Export it to .po
- Send me the file and tell me for which mod it is
- Than I upload it on steam and everyone can access it
