You can install the latest version using the VRChat Creator Companion (VCC) via https://vpm.pimaker.at/
See beed634 for changes.
v1.2.1 - Remote Control Fixes
You can install the latest version using the VRChat Creator Companion (VCC) via https://vpm.pimaker.at/

v1.2.0 - Reworked Remote Control Feature
You can install the latest version using the VRChat Creator Companion (VCC) via https://vpm.pimaker.at/
- Reworked remote control feature - may write docs later

IAavGeneratorHookfunctionality to hook custom animator generator cleanly - Improved synchronization speed
v1.1.2 - Minor bugfixes
You can install the latest version using the VRChat Creator Companion (VCC) via https://vpm.pimaker.at/
- Fixes an issue where rendering the gesturemanager circle would sometimes not update based on cursor position
- Prints more detailed stats about what was done to the log after a synchronization
v1.1.1 - First actual VPM release, "drives" feature for toggles
This project is now oficially using VPM! 🎉
You can install the latest version using the VRChat Creator Companion (VCC) via https://vpm.pimaker.at/
Other Changes
This version includes support for "drives", which allow toggles to actuate other parameters when activated or deactivated. It also includes a bunch of fixes and minor changes, like being able to disable GameObjects in the AAC hierarchy to prevent them from being included.
v0.3.0 - VPM update, remoting, direct blendtree optimization
This project is now using VPM! 🎉
You can install the latest version using the VRChat Creator Companion (VCC) via https://vpm.pimaker.at/
NOTE: You currently need to install animator-as-code separately and fix up references yourself. I'm working on making this way easier in a bit. For now, I would not recommend using this version yet, unless you know what you are doing.
(but I needed to make this release to test the rest of the automation pipeline lmao)
Other Changes
Once again thanks to @BlackStartx for helping me update compatibility to the VPM version of GestureManager!
This version also adds support for Remoting, which allows a different user in the same instance to control your avatar via Contact Receivers and Senders, provided they also use AAV and have received the correct remoting configuration from you. More documentation will follow.
Simple toggles are now optimized using a direct blendtree, see this document for more information - functionally, nothing should have changed, you will simply get better frametimes for free.
Some minor adjustment and small features have been added, e.g. you can now have a transition time for toggles, which can be useful for shader effects and blendshape animations.
v0.2.1 - GestureManager update
This is an update release for compatibility with GestureManager 3.6. Thanks to @BlackStartx for helping me update!
Install all required prerequisites first:
- latest VRChat Avatar SDK (3.0 only!)
- Animator As Code
- either VRC Gesture Manager or Av3 Emulator (GestureManager version)
- NOTE: This version must use GestureManager 3.6 or later! It will not work with older versions!
NOTE: This project is in a very early state, I can not guarantee that anything made with it now will survive an upgrade without having to re-do your menus!
v0.2 (early access) - the hierarchy release
This version adds support for editing the menu in the hierarchy, as well as allowing "raw Av3 entries", which emulate the normal Av3 menu settings and will not generate any animator state. These are useful for making custom Animator layers and still be able to trigger them via AAV generated menus. In addition, you can now use AAV on custom sub-menus of your avatar, or import existing menus into the structure.
This update will break your existing AAV setups! May break some other stuff too, make sure you have backups of any avatar you put it on!
