v1.3.4 is a critical stability, architecture scaling, and multi-GPU optimization release. It eliminates the 20%–50% duplicate share rejection issue on multi-card mining rigs, introduces Level-2 noncespace partitioning, unlocks asynchronous stream execution, and provides seamless mixed-rig (NVIDIA + AMD) support under HiveOS and Linux.

🚀 Key Improvements & Bug Fixes

  • Elimination of Multi-GPU Duplicate Shares (Level-2 Noncespace Partitioning):

    • Previously, high-hashrate multi-GPU rigs experienced rapid nonce cycling within a shared 32-bit space, leading to Duplicate share pool rejects.
    • In v1.3.4, the 32-bit nonce space (2^32) is deterministically partitioned into N mutually exclusive slices (slice_size = 2^32 / N) based on active GPU rank. Overlapping search ranges between cards are mathematically impossible.

  • Dual-Stream Asynchronous Pipeline & Kernel De-coupling:

    • Replaced global blocking cudaDeviceSynchronize() calls on work template updates with isolated stream synchronization (cudaStreamSynchronize) and asynchronous memory copies (cudaMemcpyAsync).
    • Resolves micro-stalls and hashrate drops when switching block jobs on high-density rigs.

  • Cross-GPU Thread-Safe Deduplication Filter:

    • Integrated a global, lock-protected (nTime, nonce) verification table across all GPU worker threads. Any duplicate solutions found across timestamp boundaries are filtered locally before reaching the Stratum socket.

  • Extended nTime Rollover Window (55s -> 600s):

    • Expanded the work template timestamp advance limit from 55 seconds to 10 minutes (600s). Prevents rigs from getting trapped in static-timestamp loops during long block rounds.

  • Heterogeneous / Mixed-Rig Telemetry Fix for HiveOS:

    • Updated h-stats.sh to correctly map and report per-device hashrates and thermal metrics on mixed rigs containing both NVIDIA (CUDA) and AMD (OpenCL) cards simultaneously.

  • Built-in Multi-GPU Emulation Flag (--emulate-gpus):

    • Added --emulate-gpus <COUNT|NV,AMD> (e.g., --emulate-gpus 6 or --emulate-gpus 3nv,3amd) allowing miners and developers to validate multi-context partitioning on local test systems.

🛠️ Improvements & Stability Fixes

• Native Pascal Architecture Support (sm_61 / sm_60): Full hardware acceleration for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, GTX 1070, GTX 1080, GTX 1080 Ti, and Titan X Pascal cards. Eliminates the CUDA driver no kernel image is available for execution on the device error on Pascal-series GPUs.
• Expanded Architecture Kernel Matrix: Compiled and verified native kernels across all major NVIDIA compute generations: Pascal (sm_60, sm_61), Volta (sm_70), Turing (sm_75), Ampere (sm_80, sm_86), Ada Lovelace (sm_89), Hopper (sm_90), and Blackwell (sm_100, sm_120).
• Bulletproof Windows Execution Script: Hardened start_mining.bat with absolute script directory pinning (cd /d "%~dp0" and "%~dp0powgrid-tru-gpu-miner.exe"). Fixes Windows CMD 'powgrid-tru-gpu-miner.exe' is not recognized errors when executed from shortcuts or varying working directories.
• OpenCL Multi-Vendor Fallback: Retained zero-configuration OpenCL mining backend for AMD Radeon, Intel Arc, and legacy GPUs.
• Fresh Native Release Builds: Newly compiled, fully optimized standalone release binaries for HiveOS, Linux x86_64, Windows x64, and Linux ARM64 (NVIDIA Jetson / generic aarch64).

v1.3.2 is a network resilience and connection stability release, introducing bi-directional WebSocket Ping/Pong protocol handling and automatic stale share queue purging upon reconnection.

🛠️ Improvements & Stability Fixes

• Bi-Directional WebSocket Ping/Pong Support: Full RFC 6455 compliant handling for Stratum WebSocket control frames. The miner now actively echoes back ping payloads with immediate Pong responses, ensuring edge proxies, cloud firewalls, and carrier-grade NATs keep mining sessions active without idling out.
• Stale Share Queue Purge on Reconnect: Prevents submission of obsolete shares computed while the connection was dropping or re-establishing. Automatically drains outdated nonces from the transmission buffer upon new socket handshake, eliminating rejected shares on connection recovery.
• Dedicated Asia / China Stratum Relay: Introduced high-speed Anycast edge relay at wss://asia-tru.powgrid.xyz/stratum (mirror wss://cn-tru.powgrid.xyz/stratum) terminating at regional nodes (Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore) for sub-40ms latency and robust Great Firewall (GFW) resilience.
• Synchronized Multi-GPU Engine: Maintained multi-GPU parallel CUDA kernel dispatch with low-latency job distribution across all installed NVIDIA GPUs (Blackwell, Ada Lovelace, Ampere, Turing).
