Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Heatmaps would allow developers to quickly understand what the majority of their traffic is doing.

There are two kinds of heatmaps:

  1. From the page I am now, how much traffic is on this page, and what do most people do. The answer to do this question could come from the user paths feature.
  2. Where do most people go on the site.

Describe the solution you'd like

  • I'd like to be able to browse my app, and to see on any given page, the ability to hover over elements to view the % and volume of traffic that clicks the element in question from the given page that is being used. This could be what happens in the local environment view that @timgl is considering (I can't find a ticket for that?)

The specific use case I had today was I wanted to work out for visitors to the homepage, which buttons they are clicking on, and it'd be easier to be able to view the event data on the homepage rather than having to create 10+ actions for every button.

Describe alternatives you've considered
It is currently possible to use /trends/ to work out how much individual buttons are clicked compared to each other over time.
