AutoOrtho for mac is launching but no ortho

Auto ortho is launching and there appears to be no error messages in the AO logs but there is no ortho. A few people have already mentioned this as well

Does you scenery ini file have the z-ao_ entries?

The z-ao_ seems to be working. When I run the AO using one created by Zodiac, despite its bugs and instability, it works. B

Noted. Currently testing a new version and looks ok, using Macfuse. Hopefully will release in the weekend

Tested with just one scenery as suggested by someone else but no luck.

When running AO shouldn't I be able to see that mcfuse is activated with systemextensionsctl list? I also don't see that AO mounts a volume when I type mount in the terminal. Looking forward to trying the next version!

Hi again, I just tried 1.3.0-rc-3. Everything seems to be working as far as I can tell looking at the log, but I get no ortho. Also, nothing shows up in the cache folder. I've got the scenery for Europe installed.

macOS: 15.7
MacFuse: 5.0.6 (I also tried 5.0.5 with the same result).

I'm getting more [Errno 66] than the runs from 1.2.8 (see logs in #77) . I rebooted the machine before running autoortho and x-plane.

They don't fully match the regions with [Errno 66] but all regions with [Errno 66] were not mounted. I'm including two screen caps, one from Seattle, USA and one from Sydney, Australia, for reference.

It seems to me that AutoOrtho is not detecting what x-plane is doing and thus not downloading anything, but then I don't know how that is supposed to work. Is that what FlightTracker that I see in the log does perhaps?

Hi! I didn't want to chime in on this issue until I had more certainty on what was going on.

I had to redo most of the mounting logic for mac systems, as the approach that works on linux and windows fails on Mac due to FUSE not wanting to have several mounts launched by the same process.

This caused that up until the most recent RC (1.3.0 RC-4) mounts either failed or did not launch, which caused the issue reported here and in #77

1.3.0 has the rewritten logic, rc-1 up to 3 did not work due to some minor errors on the new subprocesses that handle the ortho that are now fixed
