WidescreenFix 1.0.0
Full 32:9 / super-ultrawide support for Ori and the Will of the Wisps (Steam, 2026 build): no more vertical black bars.
Install
- Download
OriWotW-WidescreenFix-1.0.0.zip. - Extract it into the game folder (the one with
oriwotw.exe; in Steam: right-click the game → Manage → Browse local files). - Launch the game. The first start takes a few minutes and needs an internet connection that one time, while BepInEx sets itself up. Later starts are normal.
- Pick your 32:9 resolution in the options if it isn't selected already.
The zip includes BepInEx 6 (bleeding-edge be.789, Unity IL2CPP x64) with its console window disabled. Already have BepInEx 6? Just copy WidescreenFix.dll into BepInEx/plugins/. BepInEx 5 does not work with this game.
What it does
- Removes the game's 21:9 pillarbox: the camera fills the whole screen
- Adds 32:9, 32:10 and 48:9 resolutions to the in-game list
- Switches once to your desktop resolution if the game starts fullscreen at a narrower aspect ratio
Tested at 5120x1440. Settings: BepInEx/config/com.punzo.oriwotw.widescreenfix.cfg (see the README).
Linux / Steam Deck (Proton) (untested)
Use the same zip, then in Steam → game Properties → Launch Options enter:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command%
Without it, Proton ignores the bundled winhttp.dll and BepInEx never loads. Not tested yet with this game; feedback welcome.
