PurityWallet is a desktop wallet for the Bitcoin Purity blockchain, derived from Sparrow Wallet.

Downloads

Each installer has a matching SHA-256 checksum file. Download the installer for your platform; the source-code archives are not installers.

Signing status

  • The Windows MSI is not Authenticode-signed. Windows may display an unknown-publisher or SmartScreen warning.
  • The macOS apps are ad hoc signed, without Developer ID signing or Apple notarization. Official signing and notarization are deferred until the Apple Developer account's organization conversion is complete.
  • Signing private keys and passwords remain on the local signing machine; they are not stored in GitHub.

Installation

Windows: Run the MSI installer.

macOS: Open the DMG and drag puritywallet.app into Applications. If macOS blocks the first launch, verify that the download is from this release and matches its checksum, then use System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway. See Apple's instructions.

Validation

Built from commit 7612cb3. All associated CI workflows passed. Windows CI installed the MSI and checked the installed version. Both macOS jobs verified the mounted DMG's app version, architecture, bundle identity and ad hoc signature.
