Description

The url seems to be missing a /latest.

Also, I suggest:

  • creating a 2.x version on readthedocs and making stable point to it.
  • make the default readthedocs version point to stable.
  • when v3 becomes stable: create a 3.x readthedocs version and point stable to it instead.
  • when v3 becomes stable: update the readme to have doc links point to stable. (they currently point to latest)

Hey thanks for the PR.

I have pointed the documentation to latest as we want to encourage people to move to this release. Starting on version 2 wouldn't be advisable at this point as it is not actively maintained and quite outdated, missing many features and breaks on modern python asyncio under certain circumstances without applying fixes.

Maintaining a build for version 2 is definitely something I will add, and I'll likely add a link to them on the readme and index of the new docs.
