The portable client remains 3.6.1; no client update is required for this resource revision.
Updated six village cliff textures in t30. Removed 96 obsolete files inside old nested backup directories. Unrelated player files are not deleted.
Clean installation
Download QMF3.6.2-Full-A.zip and QMF3.6.2-Full-B.zip. Extract BOTH ordinary ZIPs into the SAME resource directory, or select BOTH archives in the client. These are not split volumes; each ZIP can be opened independently, but both are needed for a full installation.
Existing installation
After the official update index is published, use the client updater and confirm the MOD resource update. The automatic ZIP is QMF3.6.1-to-3.6.2.zip (patch.json, inventory.json.gz, payload/); do NOT unpack it into the game directory manually. Older supported versions use their retained successive ZIP chain.
For an unconfigured 3.6.1 resource folder, QMF3.6.1-to-3.6.2-Manual.zip is a manual overlay. Follow its included English README and exact retired-file SHA-256 list; do not delete whole directories or player-modified files. For QMoff/SD/DE configured installs, use the client updater.

Publisher verification: all full ZIP entries match the 8,973-file target inventory; six automatic payload hashes and the release signature passed. Isolated updater verified Chinese paths, QMoff, source fallback, retired-file ownership, extra-file/other-branch preservation, corruption rejection, rollback and marker commit. These checks do not replace game testing on each player's configuration.

Clean installation
Download BOTH A and B. They are ordinary, independently readable ZIP archives, not split volumes. Extract both into the same resource folder, then select that folder in the client's resource installer; alternatively select both ZIPs together. Do not install only one half. Back up an existing installation and preserve unrelated maps/custom files.
Default resource layout is HD with the game's original water. Warcraft 3.0.0 should use the latest client to apply its legacy shaders; 3.0.1+ uses modern shaders.
Existing installations
Prefer the client automatic updater, especially when resources are parked in QMoff or configured for SD/DE. The signed ZIP chain preserves the existing 3.4 migration, then updates 3.5 to 3.6 and 3.6.1. Automatic ZIPs are machine-managed, not manual root overlays.
For manual installation based on the old 3.5 full package, first extract both old A/B ZIPs into one folder, then apply the Manual overlay there and follow its English README. Never empty the resource folder. Only explicitly retired, unmodified official files may be removed.
3.6.1 adds ten fog/volumetric-fog shader changes and corrected native Outland/Black Citadel T20 terrain/cliff paths to the frozen 3.6 resources. Client version and resource version are managed separately.
