UI & Theming

  • Interactive Floating Theme Editor: Redesigned the theme editor into a floating picker accessible anywhere in the app. Tap UI elements directly to modify colors with instant live preview.

  • General UI/UX Polish: Fixed various layout glitches and visual inconsistencies across the app.

File Management & Dual Pane

  • Drag-and-Drop Support: Long-press and drag selected items or files directly into different folders and tabs.
  • Independent Dual-Pane Tabs: In landscape mode, each pane now manages its own independent tab group without mirroring or interfering with the other.
  • Drawer Vault Behavior: Vaults unlocked directly from the side drawer now open automatically.

Camera & Capture

  • Non-blocking Video Saving: Saving captured videos no longer freezes or locks the camera page. You can return immediately to the file manager while the save finishes as a background file transfer.
  • Segmented Recording & Quick Snaps: Added support for recording in segments and fast photo/video captures that bypass the preview screen (fully compatible with automation workflows).
  • Pause & In-Recording Snapshots: You can now pause active video recordings and take still snapshots while recording.
  • Background Recording: Quick camera now continues recording seamlessly when minimized or when the screen turns off.

Media Player

  • Picture-in-Picture (PiP) & Background Audio: Added support for PiP and continuous background playback after leaving the media player (disabled by default, can be enabled in settings).
  • Lock Controls Mode: Added a lock button to prevent accidental taps, swipes, and pinch gestures. Press and hold to unlock; the system back button is also blocked while locked.
  • Gesture Swipe-to-Dismiss: Quickly dismiss items in playlists by swiping perpendicularly to the playlist scroll direction (e.g., swipe down on horizontal playlists, swipe sideways on vertical ones).

Security

  • Biometric Invalidation: Master lock and vault biometric authentication now automatically disable and revert to password unlock (clearing cached vault credentials) whenever a new fingerprint or facial profile is enrolled on the device.

Bug Fixes

  • AVIF Images: Fixed a crash when attempting to edit AVIF format images.
  • Audio Waveform Visualizer: Fixed an issue where the waveform visualizer in the audio editor failed to render long audio tracks.
  • 7-Zip Archives: Resolved edge-case errors preventing certain .7z archives from opening or extracting correctly.
