RPGMDec v1.1.0
Changes
Added
Encodingmenu: choose the encoding of file names inside archives (UTF-8, Shift-JIS, GB18030, Big5, EUC-KR, Windows-1251, Windows-1252). It applies to opening and creating archives, and an opened archive is re-read when you change it.- A message with the number of archive entries skipped because their names aren't valid in the chosen encoding.
Changed
- Asset encryption lists only images and audio, as RPG Maker does; fonts and other files are no longer shown.
- Archive creation stops with a message if a file name can't be written in the chosen encoding, instead of storing it damaged.
Security
- Archive entries with absolute or
..paths are rejected instead of being written outside the output directory.
From rpgmad-lib 6.0.0
- Empty, truncated or corrupt archives, and archives with out-of-range sizes or offsets, show an error instead of crashing.
- VX Ace archives whose entries overlap each other or the entry table, or aren't in table order, are rejected as corrupt. Archives written by RPG Maker and by the app are unaffected.
- The library is now fuzzed.
From rpgm-asset-decrypter-lib 4.0.0
- A non-hexadecimal key is rejected with a message instead of crashing.
- Truncated or malformed OGG files show an error instead of crashing.
- M4A and OGG key detection no longer leaks state between files, so decrypting one file can't affect the next.
- The library is now fuzzed.
RPGMDec v1.0.2
Changes
- Barely compiled the release for Windows.
- Fixed not stopping the output device stream after playing audio which would constantly fill stdout with error messages and slow the program.
- Removed
no-pangofeature, so now pango is used. This should be better.
RPGMDec v1.0.1
Changes
- Adopted a mindblowing logo.
- A couple of translation fixes.
- When processing assets, program now determines processing mode by the first file. If first file is a decrypted asset, mode will change to encryption, and vice versa. Assets that don't match the state will be silently discarded.
