Y-Clip v1.0.19 hardens automatic updates and recovery on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

• The selected GitHub Release version is now bound to every download and installation stage; renamed older apps, same-version installs, downgrades, malformed versions, and version mismatches are rejected.
• Mounted, prepared, candidate, and final apps must pass exact version, identity, Developer ID, hardened runtime, strict code-signing, Gatekeeper, and thin-architecture validation.
• Installation now uses a fixed transaction lock plus same-volume candidate/backup atomic renames, with TERM/INT/HUP deferred across filesystem/state synchronization so an uncommitted app cannot remain at the canonical path after the lock is released.
• The legacy Global Clipboard.app path is moved only after identity validation; unknown objects and symlinks are preserved.
• A replacement commits only after the new app finishes AppKit launch, reports a one-time token and exact PID/path, and remains alive. Incomplete rollback preserves the lock and every recovery copy.
• Both thin DMGs were independently signed, notarized, stapled, Gatekeeper-checked, mounted, and verified.

This release intentionally contains exactly these two architecture-specific DMGs and no universal package.

• Added a pin button that keeps the clipboard history panel above normal windows and allows it to be dragged like a regular floating panel.
• Added an independently configurable pinned-panel hotkey, defaulting to Option+Shift+Command+V, while Option+Command+V continues to open the temporary panel near the current caret or pointer.
• Remembered the pinned panel position, kept it visible after choosing history, and refreshed it live when clipboard history changes.
• Restored focus to the frontmost input control before automatic paste, so the pinned panel stays visible without intercepting the generated Command+V.
• Suspended both global hotkeys while recording a shortcut so conflicts can be detected and rolled back correctly.

• Rebuilt the drag-to-install DMG with a light, high-contrast 2x Retina background so Finder's black app labels remain crisp and readable in light and dark system appearances.
• Removed visible .background and .fseventsd items, hid Finder's toolbar, status bar, path bar, and tab bar, and aligned the installation arrow from the saved Y-Clip and Applications icon coordinates.
• Preserved the root-level Global Clipboard.app updater compatibility copy on APFS with its strict signature and BSD hidden flag intact, and moved its Finder icon outside the installation window so it cannot cover the layout when hidden files are shown.

• Validated downloaded updates against Y-Clip's Bundle ID, Developer ID team, hardened runtime, code signature, and Gatekeeper before replacing the installed app.
• Constrained settings windows to the active display and added product identity to About.

The attached DMG is signed with Developer ID, notarized by Apple, stapled, and Gatekeeper-verified. It also retains the hidden Global Clipboard.app compatibility copy for older update paths.
