MCP server 0.1.0

Ranch.Bot local MCP server 0.1.0 reads and updates cattle and sheep records over stdio.

Requires Node.js 22 or newer and a Ranch.Bot account with authorized farm access.

npm install -g @ranchbot/mcp-server@0.1.0
ranchbot-mcp login

Approve the displayed browser request, then configure your local MCP client to run ranchbot-mcp
with no arguments. Select a farm with list_my_farms and set_default_farm before reading records.
Use ranchbot-mcp logout to revoke the device session.

Farm roles and scopes apply. External writes execute directly and bypass the Ranch.Bot app's
confirmation screen and Action-backed Change History. Review each operation before authorizing it.
Do not automatically retry an uncertain write.

Registry name: bot.ranch/mcp-server. MIT licensed. Ranch.Bot operates no hosted MCP endpoint.
