What's New

• Makes stream validation optional and defaults to opt-in since some ES clients throw on missing stream reads while others do not.
• Includes symbols packages with nuget package files.

Breaking Changes

• Drops support for .NET 6.
• IListener.Start includes a new optional validateStream parameter. In cases where Start is used with positional parameters including a CancellationToken, they will break since the new parameter comes before the cancellation token positionally.

This will be the last release where Message is defined as a class. Starting with the next release, any class that inherits from Message will need to be implemented as a record instead. This will make for clearer intent since records are generally immutable, and will make for simple concrete message implementations. For example, a message that under v0.11 is defined as

public class MyEvent(string name, string description) : Event
{
    public readonly string Name = name;
    public readonly string Description = description;
}

will be able to be defined more succinctly in v0.12.0 simply as

public record MyEvent(string Name, string Description) : Event;

In order to take advantage of any updates after this release, you will need to convert your messages to records.
