Local Drop is now Dewlet. Send files, photos, text and links between your Android phone and your Mac, directly over your local network.

Install: download Dewlet-0.1.1.dmg, open it and drag Dewlet to Applications. Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple; it lives in the menu bar. If you had Local Drop, delete it from Applications: Dewlet keeps its paired devices and settings.

Requirements: macOS 14 or later, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The phone needs Dewlet for Android (Android 10 or later), in testing on Google Play.

Pair: on the Mac, click the drop in the menu bar and turn on Visible to new devices. On the phone, tap Add a Mac, pick the Mac and confirm the code.

What's new

  • The new name, Dewlet, everywhere.
  • The phone asks for notifications right after pairing: they show progress and let you accept files from the Mac.
  • Forgetting a Mac on the phone also clears its recent transfers.

Установка: скачайте Dewlet-0.1.1.dmg, откройте и перетащите Dewlet в «Программы». Приложение подписано Developer ID и нотаризовано Apple, живёт в строке меню. Если у вас был Local Drop, удалите его из «Программ»: привязанные устройства и настройки Dewlet сохранит.

Требования: macOS 14 или новее, Bluetooth и Wi-Fi. На телефоне нужен Dewlet для Android (Android 10 или новее) — сейчас в тестировании в Google Play.

Привязка: на Mac нажмите на каплю в строке меню и включите «Виден новым устройствам». На телефоне нажмите «Добавить Mac», выберите Mac и подтвердите код.

Что нового

  • Новое название — Dewlet.
  • Телефон просит включить уведомления сразу после привязки: в них виден ход передачи и принимаются файлы с Mac.
  • Если забыть Mac на телефоне, его недавние передачи тоже удаляются.
