Dewlet for Mac, build 3 — the same app that is now in review for the Mac App Store.

Install: download Dewlet-0.1.1-3.dmg, open it and drag Dewlet to Applications. Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple; it lives in the menu bar.

Pair again. Dewlet now has the identifier it will have in the App Store, so it starts without the paired phones of earlier versions. Quit and delete the old Dewlet or Local Drop, forget the Mac in Dewlet on the phone, then pair: on the Mac, click the drop in the menu bar and turn on Visible to new devices; on the phone, tap Add a Mac, pick the Mac and confirm the code.

Requirements: macOS 14 or later, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The phone needs Dewlet for Android (Android 10 or later), in testing on Google Play.

What's new

  • While you drag files, a small tab appears at the right edge of the screen; drag the files onto it and your phones slide out. Move away and they fold back.
  • The edge panel shows for every file drag, zip files included.
  • Files for a phone still reach it after another phone was forgotten.
  • Open at login only after you agree to it.
  • Settings › General › About: the version and the privacy policy.

Dewlet для Mac, сборка 3 — то же приложение, что сейчас на проверке в Mac App Store.

Установка: скачайте Dewlet-0.1.1-3.dmg, откройте и перетащите Dewlet в «Программы». Приложение подписано Developer ID и нотаризовано Apple, живёт в строке меню.

Привяжите заново. У Dewlet теперь тот идентификатор, с которым он будет в App Store, поэтому привязанных к прежним версиям телефонов он не помнит. Закройте и удалите старый Dewlet или Local Drop, забудьте Mac в Dewlet на телефоне и привяжите снова: на Mac нажмите на каплю в строке меню и включите «Виден новым устройствам», на телефоне нажмите «Добавить Mac», выберите Mac и подтвердите код.

Требования: macOS 14 или новее, Bluetooth и Wi-Fi. На телефоне нужен Dewlet для Android (Android 10 или новее) — сейчас в тестировании в Google Play.

Что нового

  • Пока вы перетаскиваете файлы, у правого края экрана появляется небольшой язычок: наведите на него файлы — и выедут телефоны. Уведёте файлы — панель спрячется.
  • Панель у края появляется при перетаскивании любых файлов, в том числе zip.
  • Файлы доходят до телефона, даже если перед этим забыли другой телефон.
  • Открытие при входе в систему — только с вашего согласия.
  • Настройки › Основные › О приложении: версия и политика конфиденциальности.
