Unofficial fan patch for the PC game Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (2000).
Not affiliated with Disney, Pixar, Activision or Traveller's Tales. No game files included: you need your own
original PC copy of the game.
Changes in 1.1
- Fixed: choosing English on the Spanish, Italian, German or French version closed the game at the level select, and
then on every start. If it happened to you, install 1.1 over it ("Update" in the installer): your settings and saves
are kept. - Fixed: on the Spanish version, the title of the options menu stayed in Spanish in every other language.

BuzzSetup.exe: the installer. Run it and choose the disc image (.iso,.bin/.cue) of your PC copy.ffmpeg-9.0.2.tar.xz: the unchanged source code of the ffmpeg the installer carries (LGPL 2.1). You do not need it
to play.
What it does
- New graphics engine (Direct3D 11): steady 60 FPS, any resolution, widescreen.
- Gamepad and mouse, every action remappable; two new difficulty levels; "restart level" in the pause menu.
- 22 options in the game's own menu ("patch options"); game texts in six languages.
- Installer for modern Windows; "Translation" puts the voices and videos of another disc (Dreamcast, PlayStation or
the PC one of another language).
Versions
- Works with the English, Spanish, Italian, German and French PC versions.
- The Portuguese one cannot be installed (a different build), but its disc works in "Translation".
- The French one has a copy protection: it only starts with the original disc in the drive. We recommend installing
another version and using the French disc in "Translation".
Requirements: Windows 10 or 11, a graphics card with Direct3D 11.
