v0.4.1 - Timers!
This release brings a minimal implementation of Timers!
These timers integrate with the underlying platform and are able to periodically wake up the window handler without any extra threads or other costly shenanigans. 🙂
Creating timers can be done quite simply by calling WindowContext::create_timer. It will then schedule a call to WindowHandler::on_timer() when triggered.
See the documentation for these two functions, as well as the new timers example, for more information.
This implementation will be expanded in the future, by allowing to pause/resume timers, change their interval, or destroy them completely.
This release also contains the Windows DPI fix that was backported in v0.3.7.
