This update enhances stability, performance, and UI consistency in PokeManager, with improvements to download handling and fetch reliability.

What's New

General Changes

  • Timeouts Increased: Extended HTTP request timeouts from 10.0s to 30.0s for better reliability on slower networks.

Bug Fixes

  • MediaFireFetcher Timeout: Increased timeouts from 30s to 60s for page.wait_for_selector and page.goto.
  • Download Error Handling: Added cleanup for downloader and thread in handle_download_error.
  • Fetch Error Handling: Ensures progress bar is hidden on fetch errors.

Performance Optimizations

  • MediaFireFetcher: Added Google DNS settings for Playwright.
  • Downloader Enhancements:
    • Adaptive chunk sizing (256 KB min, 8 MB max) based on download speed.
    • HTTP timeouts standardized to 60.0s.

UI/UX Improvements

  • WarningDialog: Height increased from 260px to 275px.
  • Download Speed Label: Hidden for "strings" downloads to reduce clutter.

Removed

  • Mod Pack: Mod Pack will no longer automatically enable mods using the main.properties document.
