This update brings significant improvements to the PokeManager application, enhancing UI responsiveness, download reliability, and adaptive layout management. Key highlights include advanced link extraction, dynamic resizing for smaller screens, and an optimized sidebar layout. Additionally, all dependencies have been updated, with the User-Agent now aligned to Chrome 134.0.0.0.

Enhancements & New Features

Smarter Link Extraction

  • Advanced Detection:
    • Implemented multiple selectors for more reliable link extraction
    • Expanded regex patterns to search both page content and scripts
  • Improved Tracking:
    • Added detailed fetch logging (e.g., "Starting browser", "Link found") for better visibility
  • Faster Execution:
    • Optimized Playwright wait conditions by switching from networkidle to domcontentloaded for quicker page loads

Adaptive Resizing & Layout

  • Smart Screen Adjustments:
    • Automatically detects screen size for better usability
    • On small screens (<1200×768), the window now scales to 80% of available space (minimum: 800×600)
    • On larger screens, a default size of 1100×720 is applied
  • Responsive UI Elements:
    • Sidebar and menu button icons dynamically adjust in size based on window dimensions (ranging from 24px to 64px)
  • Information & Version Label:
    • A new section in the sidebar that will display the version of PokeManager and the Information button (clickable text)

Bug Fixes

  • Improved link-fetching accuracy by adding multiple fallback selectors and patterns
  • Resolved inconsistent button sizing by replacing fixed heights with adaptive policies
  • Enhanced small-screen usability with automatic resizing adjustments
