What's new

  • Save webpages from Obsidian’s Web Viewer as HTML: capture the current page (DOM) or its original source code.
  • Open the new Save menu to choose either HTML option or Web Viewer’s native Save to vault action.
  • Unified AI entry points and selection actions as Ask AI, with updated translations across all 10 interface languages. Existing chat folders and history remain unchanged.

Improvements

  • HTML exports preserve encoding, and DOM exports retain the page’s base URL for relative resources.
  • Save dialogs focus the filename automatically and prevent overwriting existing files.

Validation: all 394 tests pass; local checks and the public Obsidian Community Directory review workflow pass without warnings.
