Octet Draw 1.0.14
Download the installer for your computer below.
New in 1.0.14
- Name to Structure reads common, trade and German names (Tylenol, TNT, Essigsäure), CAS numbers (64-17-5), InChIKeys, condensed formulas (PhCH2OH, Me3SiCl), peptides (Ala-Gly-Ser) and lists of names. It suggests the right spelling for a misspelt name. With Online search on, it asks PubChem for names it does not know.
- 193 more literature abbreviations, such as TREN, TPA, cyclam, dppf, RuPhos, PyBOX, Ir(ppy)3 and Rh2(esp)2. Type one in the template search or the command palette to draw it. A drawn structure shows its abbreviation in the Structure panel and after its name.
- A text box tied to a structure, such as its name or number, copies on its own.
- ⌘B, ⌘I and ⌘U work in text boxes.
- Octet checks for updates when it opens. You can turn this off in Settings.
- Export, Copy and Print leave out reaction interpretation marks and a picked grid cell.
