Octet Draw 1.0.15
Download the installer for your computer below.
New in 1.0.15
- ChemDraw files open and save back as ChemDraw made them: conditions keep their places, labels keep their justification and turn, and spectra on the page come through.
- Measured spectra: open JCAMP-DX, SPC and Bruker files in the Spectrum panel, pick peaks and multiplets, link peaks to atoms and bonds, and copy the NMR line for an experimental section.
- Mass Spec Analysis beside Mass Fragmentation: fragments, adducts, charge states, isotope patterns, peak matching and the HRMS line.
- 292 templates in 16 sets, including chairs, Newman projections, Haworth sugars, metallocenes, paddlewheels and lab glassware. Edit your own templates, order them, keep a set open as a floating palette, choose its size, and open or save ChemDraw template files.
- Your own Name to Structure dictionary: right-click a structure and choose Add to dictionary.
- More names: mixtures with ratios, cis, trans, fac, mer, Δ and Λ at metals, clusters, cod and other η ligands, multiplicative names, and names with italics and superscripts.
- Labels can hold more than one line and take bold, italic and underline as you type.
- Screen readers open the menus on Windows and can read and move through the drawing.
- On the Mac, Quit from the Dock asks about unsaved changes. On Linux, Cut, Copy and Paste in the Edit menu work. Pictures export in EMF and EPS.
