Cross-OEM Call Waiting & Telephony Reliability

  • Universal Call-Waiting Notification Fix: Resolved cross-device issue where tapping incoming call-waiting (second incoming call while already in an active call) notifications redirected to Google Dialer or OEM dialer instead of Secure Dialer. Configured call-waiting notifications to use a standard high-priority BigTextStyle notification builder with explicit pending intents and FLAG_ACTIVITY_REORDER_TO_FRONT, preventing third-party dialer hijacking across all Android ROMs and device manufacturers (Samsung, Xiaomi, Pixel, OnePlus, Motorola).
  • Direct Telephony In-App Routing: Tapping a call-waiting banner cleanly raises Secure Dialer to the foreground with seamless swap, hold, merge, or dismiss actions.
