[🐛 Bug]: Missing Privacy Policy #15652

@ghost

Description

Description

I've been looking around to find the privacy policy for selenium users after the plausible incident... #14643

There is no such thing on the website nor on this repository.
Meanwhile the data from European citizens are beefing up plausible.io database.

I also saw that you closed as "not planned" #14588 , this is ridiculous, of course you did not plan to disclose that you are collecting data about your users.

Please either explain or fix, it's 2025 you are getting away for a while now, maybe call it even and move on ? (as in become GDPR compliant)
Thanks.

And besides the GDPR thing, i think you should tell ALL the users about data collection.

Reproducible Code

echo "0.0.0.0 plausible.io" >> /etc/hosts
export SE_AVOID_STATS; python main.py
trying proxy:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:4145

Error sending stats to Plausible: error sending request for url (https://plausible.io/api/event)
