Updating between versions

This applies to upgrades between major versions - e.g. 1.8 to 1.9
IMPORTANT: GUI version MUST match version of firmware installed on the FC. You may be able to connect and carry out some functions, but typically any settings / osd layouts are not interchangeable.
Process is as follows:
- In current version installed on FC, connect with matching GUI version and use the "Save settings to file" button.
- It is also recommended to take some screen shots of each tab and OSD layout as a backup plan.
- Load new version of configurator and install new version of firmware
- Use the "Load settings from file" button followed by "Write" to update the OSD hardware with your settings.
