Godspeed Code 0.5.10
Added
- Usage in the session card. The thread details card shows how much is left in each limit
window of the chat's account (5-hour first, then weekly) and how full the context window is,
with reset times on hover. It reuses the usage data the composer gauge already loads. - fx as a provider.
fx acpruns through the ACP driver like the other agents (from Zeron).
Changed
- Much less background work while you're away. With 10 chats open in their own worktrees,
Godspeed now starts about 25gitprocesses in 10 idle minutes instead of 375. Diffs refresh
when you come back, when a turn ends or when files change, with a safety check every 15 minutes
only while you're active; build output intarget/andnode_modules/no longer triggers
refreshes. The PR watch backs off properly when you're away, and build-slot checks stop when
nothing can build. - A calmer Dock buddy. The speedster falls asleep on a still frame after 45 seconds of quiet
instead of animating forever. While agents work it keeps running, capped at 4 fps on battery,
in Low Power Mode or when every window is hidden. A waiting alert settles after a minute. - Lighter redraws. A running zoomie animates only its own row instead of redrawing the whole
window, and Mission Control repaints only the card that moves. - Quieter launch. The empty-chat check at launch is cheaper, agent update checks wait 90
seconds and are reused for 6 hours, and usage meters don't refresh while no window is visible.
Fixed
- One slow agent CLI no longer stalls every other agent lookup while its version is checked, and a
failed version check is retried instead of cached until restart (from Zeron). - Direct device links over Tailscale (MTU 1280) now carry data: WebRTC packets may fragment (from Zeron).
Godspeed Code 0.5.9
Added
- Review and merge from the PR pane. Approve, request changes or comment; reply to review
threads and resolve or unresolve them; merge with the methods the repository allows (after a
confirmation that names the repository, PR, base, head and method, and only if the branch hasn't
moved); enable or disable auto-merge; mark a draft ready; close or reopen. Each action shows
progress and GitHub's reason when it refuses (for example "Review required by branch
protection"). Uses yourghlogin; GitHub only for now. - PR watch that wakes the chat. A watched pull request is polled every 90 seconds (backing off
on errors and rate limits, pausing when the app is idle). Newly failed checks (with the failing
log tail), new review comments and a new merge conflict are queued into the PR's chat and shown in
Needs you. On by default for PRs a Godspeed chat opened, toggled per PR from the PR pane; the
sidebar badge shows an eye on watched PRs. Each event is reported once, the agent's own comments
never wake it, and wakes are capped per PR per hour. Optional per-PR "auto-merge when green"
turns on GitHub auto-merge once checks pass and the PR is approved; nothing is ever approved for
you. - More agents from the ACP registry. Settings → Providers → More agents lists the public ACP
agent registry (name, publisher, version, install size) and installs, updates or uninstalls an
agent in one click, into Godspeed's own data folder. Factory Droid, GitHub Copilot CLI, Gemini
CLI and Kimi CLI run through the ACP driver like any other provider. Registry data is treated as
untrusted: nothing runs unless it is pinned to a checksum (SHA-256 for binaries; exact npm
versions checked against npm's sha512, installed without lifecycle scripts). - Several instances of one agent. Each provider can have named instances with their own
binary, config dir (CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR,CODEX_HOME, …), env vars, default and custom models
and account. Secret-looking env values go to the OS keychain, never to settings or logs. Pick an
instance in the model picker, where it lists under its provider; existing chats keep the default
instance. Receipts name the instance; usage and telemetry still count by provider. - Run on a server. Settings → Devices → "Run on a server…" installs the headless engine on a
Linux machine over your own SSH (keys, agent and~/.ssh/config; never a password), or on a
Tailscale machine picked from a list. It checks the connection (with clear host-key and auth
errors), downloads the release for the server's arch from GitHub and verifies its sha256,
installs into~/.godspeed/appwithout sudo, signs the server into your workspace (you sign in
in the browser and paste the code) and starts it as asystemd --userservice with lingering
(or anohupsupervisor plus@rebootcron). The server then shows up as a device to start
chats on, so agents keep running with the laptop closed. Saved servers show Online, version and
uptime, with Update, Stop, Start and Uninstall; re-running setup or checking status never
restarts a running engine.godspeed login --stdin-code [--org ID]is the sign-in it drives. - Linux release builds. Every
v*release getsgodspeed-<v>-linux-x86_64.tar.gzand
-linux-aarch64.tar.gzwith sha256 files and amanifest-linux.json, built by GitHub Actions.
Linux installs update from that manifest; a release whose Linux build isn't uploaded yet is
skipped instead of downloaded unverified. - Sub-agents in their own worktree. MCP
create_chatandcreate_chatstakeworktree:
"new"starts the chat in a fresh git worktree on its own branch, off the parent's branch or a
namedbase, set up like the app's worktrees (copied .env files, ports, setup commands);
"parent"(the default) shares the parent's checkout; or name an existing worktree by folder or
branch. Conductor caps still apply, and a refused chat leaves no worktree behind. A side chat on
its own branch shows it on the parent's card (ported from T3 Code). - Worktree cleanup and storage. Settings → General → Worktrees can delete worktrees whose
branch is merged, or that sat untouched for 7, 14 or 30 days (both off by default), running their
teardown commands. Worktrees with uncommitted changes, unpushed commits or a running chat are
always kept. A storage list shows every Godspeed worktree with its size on disk, branch, last
activity, state and chat, with "Delete now" and "Delete all eligible" (ported from T3 Code). - Select several sessions at once. Cmd-click or Shift-click sidebar rows (Cmd+A in the sidebar
takes them all, Esc lets go) and settle, snooze, mark read or unread, pin, archive or delete them
together from the bar at the foot of the sidebar. Cmd+Z undoes a whole batch (ported from T3 Code). - Prompt recall and stash. Up in an empty composer brings back the prompts you sent in that chat
(Down goes forward again). Cmd+S sets the draft aside, attachments included, and the "Stashed"
chip brings it back or deletes it; stashes stay on this Mac across restarts. Rebind it in
Settings → Shortcuts (ported from T3 Code). - Dock badge with the number of chats waiting on an approval or an answer. Turn it off in
Settings → Appearance → "Show badge on Dock icon".
Changed
- Parallel agents share build slots. Agents and terminals run their cargo and make builds
through one shared jobserver, so three or four agents building at once no longer start a rustc
per core each (in testing, peak rustc processes went from 24 to 9 and memory from 4.7 GB to
2.0 GB). Your ownCARGO_BUILD_JOBS,MAKEFLAGSorbuild.jobsstill win. sccache is used
when it's installed. Settings → General → Builds shows the slots.
Fixed
- A chat whose worktree folder was deleted gets it recreated before its next turn, instead of
failing.
Godspeed Code 0.5.8
Added
- Anonymous usage ping. Once a day, on days you use it, Godspeed sends an anonymous ping:
version, platform, and how much you used it (chats, turns, approvals, zoomie runs, harness mix,
token totals, estimated spend at API prices). No prompts, code, paths, names or account details;
the install id is random and separate from the device id. On by default with a one-time notice;
turn it off in Settings → General → Privacy, or withGODSPEED_TELEMETRY=0orDO_NOT_TRACK=1.
Field-by-field list: docs/PRIVACY.md. - A private admin dashboard on the edge (
/admin) for the maintainers, over those pings. - Agents drive the preview browser. In-chat agents get ten
preview_*tools (open, navigate,
snapshot with element refs, screenshot they can see, click, type, scroll, read-only eval, console,
wait) on their chat's own preview tab, to check the UI they build. Local dev servers open freely;
other sites need network access in the chat's mode or your approval. The tab shows "Agent is using
the preview" with a Stop button. macOS for now; details in docs/mcp.md. - Create zoomies from Home. A ⚡ chip in the new-chat composer adds a "When" row: pick a preset
or type a schedule in plain English ("weekdays at 6pm", "every 30 min", "tomorrow 9am"), see the
next run live, and send. "Run this on a schedule…" turns any chat into a zoomie, the sidebar has a
Zoomies section, and the palette has "New zoomie…".
Fixed
- Cursor usage bars match the pools on Cursor's spending page. Contributed by @devnm21.
- The app icon is the gold Hermes again in every build.
Godspeed Code 0.5.7
Added
- In-app updates. Godspeed checks for new releases on launch and every few hours, downloads and
verifies them (checksum, Apple signature from the same team, notarization; never a downgrade), and
shows "Godspeed X is ready · Restart". Settings → General → Updates turns it off or checks now. - Dictation on iPhone. A mic button in the chat composer types what you say, live, using Apple's
on-device speech recognition. The keyboard's own dictation no longer cuts off mid-sentence. - Side chats are titled from the conversation they branched from (ported from T3 Code).
Changed
- Always-on agents are now called Zoomies.
- Caught up with Zeron through
3d2f1e64.
Fixed
- Sending a message from the iPhone no longer restarts the Mac's Claude session (and kills its
background tasks): phone sends use the chat's access mode, and a session with background work is
kept until that work finishes.
Godspeed Code 0.5.6
Added
- Conductor (preview). A long-lived main chat bound to a folder that plans and steers nested
sub-agents across the repos inside it, with a live card per sub-agent and their approvals surfaced
on the cards. Turn it on in Settings → General → Conductor (preview). Agents inside a conductor can
only approve low-risk requests once; everything else waits for you. At most 8 sub-agents run at a
time. Contributed by @devnm21. - Thread title instructions: tell Godspeed how to title your chats (ported from T3 Code).
- Cloning a project onto another device retries over HTTPS when the SSH login is refused.
Fixed
- Actions wait for the shell to be ready before typing their command, so rc-file prompts no longer
swallow it. - Terminals no longer inherit the tmux, screen or Zellij session Godspeed was launched from.
- Git commands run Xcode's git directly instead of the macOS
xcrunshim (faster on macOS).
Changed
- Caught up with Zeron through
325384d8.
Godspeed Code 0.5.5
Added
- Add a project to another device. From the device picker or a project's menu, choose "Add to
…": the other machine clones the repo (SSH or HTTPS), then your git-ignored files such as
.envare copied over through your own signed-in engines, and you land on the project there.
Ported from T3 Code.
Godspeed Code 0.5.4
Added
- When several chats finish at once you hear one chime, not a burst (ported from T3 Code).
Changed
- Hosted cloud sync is invite-only for now. Signing in with an account that isn't invited shows a
clear notice on the Mac and the iPhone; Godspeed Code works fully without sync, and you can host
your own server (edge/DEPLOY.md). - Caught up with Zeron through
c526d6f7, and updated dependencies.
Godspeed 0.5.3
Added
- Step the reasoning effort up or down from the keyboard (ported from T3 Code).
Fixed
- Pi's Godspeed delegation tools are recognised again instead of showing as unknown tools.
- A quota or context error that arrives just before an ACP agent exits is reported as that error,
not as "exited unexpectedly". - The curl installer and Windows packaging no longer reference Zeron.
Godspeed 0.5.2
Changed
- New app icon: a gold marble Hermes, the Greek god of speed.
Godspeed 0.5.1
Added
- Usage history and cost on Settings → Usage: Today (hourly), 7, 30, 90 days or All; a stacked
chart of tokens or estimated cost per day by provider or model; totals for input, output, cache
read and write tokens and turns; breakdowns by model, provider and project; and your most
expensive chats. Costs are estimates at list API prices (also shown for subscription accounts).
History includes your earlier Claude Code and Codex sessions, read from their own local logs,
without double counting chats run in Godspeed.
Fixed
- A selected inbox row fills its card instead of drawing a box inside it.
