Focus is Luma’s native photo editor, now available for x86_64 Linux.

Adjust light and colour, develop camera RAW files, crop and straighten, heal, use brush/radial/gradient masks, and grade shadows, midtones and highlights. Edits preserve originals. Export full-resolution JPEG, PNG, TIFF, WebP or PDF. HEIC import is included.

Download Focus-0.1.0-x86_64.flatpak and open it with your software installer, or install the small Focus.flatpakref file. Flatpak installs GTK and the Luma runtime automatically and keeps the app updated from the signed Luma repository.

flatpak install --user https://dl.simplyluma.com/apps/org.projectluma.Darkroom.stable.flatpakref
flatpak run org.projectluma.Darkroom

Focus is also available in Depot. The established package ID remains org.projectluma.Darkroom so existing libraries, editable documents and settings survive the rename.

This release supports x86_64 Linux. RAW development uses 16-bit decoded samples and floating-point processing; export is currently 8-bit. Camera support depends on LibRaw. See the repository documentation for current limits.

Assets include the signed Flatpak, install reference, pinned build manifest, SHA-256 checksums, public source including Luma UI, corresponding image-engine sources, and a desktop screenshot. The sample photograph is the Apollo 17 Blue Marble, courtesy of NASA Johnson Space Center.
