1800 °C | 1.5 °C/tick | 0.4 °C/tick |

2000 °C | 1 °C/tick | 0.3 °C/tick |
A furnace heats toward the fuel's max_temperature, never past its own maximum. Heating speed is multiplied by the
fuel's heat_rate. The Iron Furnace's built-in bellows add 200 °C to the fuel's temperature.
Which fuels each furnace takes, by the fuel's max_temperature:
| Furnace | Fuel max temperature |
|---|---|
| Pit Kiln | up to 700 °C |
| Clay Kiln | any |
| Bloomery | 900 to 1200 °C |
| Iron Furnace | 900 to 1200 °C |
| Iron Furnace with Obsidian Lining | 900 °C or more |
| Nether Forge | 1500 °C or more |
A Clay Kiln without the lining burns fuels above 1200 °C, but it overheats and cracks.

Items accepted in the upgrade slot of the Clay Kiln and the Iron Furnace |

The furnaces are in these tags so Carry On and similar mods can't pick them up |
config/mazusfurnaces-common.toml (Forge and NeoForge) or config/mazusfurnaces-common.properties (Fabric):
-
removeVanillaFurnace (default
true): removes the vanilla furnace recipe and turns furnaces in villages and other structures into Clay Kilns. The blast furnace and the furnace minecart are removed too, and the smoker is crafted with a Clay Kiln. -
removeVanillaNetheriteIngot (default
true): removes the crafting table recipe for the netherite ingot, which is then made in the Nether Forge.
Both need a world restart.
