SoraFiles Desktop 0.1.3 adds print sizes and file-size targets to the image tools.

• Resize image can work in centimetres, millimetres or inches at a chosen DPI, with passport, stamp, A4 and Letter presets, as well as pixels and percent.
• Resize image and Compress image accept a maximum file size in KB or MB. Quality is lowered first, then pixels, and the result is checked before it is saved.
• Your options stay as you set them after a run and when you add more files.
• The options panel scrolls as a whole, with Process files always in reach, and the text throughout is larger and clearer.
• Resized images carry only the print resolution. The original photo's hidden camera and location data is never copied.
• New text is translated into all 19 languages.

Windows and Linux packages are unsigned. macOS packages are ad-hoc signed and are not notarized; first launch may require System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Automatic updates remain disabled; install the matching package manually. The Microsoft Store version updates automatically.

SoraFiles Desktop 0.1.2 lets you manage or cancel your subscription from the app.

• License now has "Manage or cancel subscription" for monthly and annual plans. Your Dodo Payments billing portal opens in the browser, already signed in. Choose Cancel at next billing date to keep using Desktop until the end of the period you have paid for, or Cancel now to end it right away.
• The same portal lets you change your payment method and download invoices. It opens even if a renewal payment has failed, so you can fix or cancel it.
• Lifetime licenses have no subscription, so the button is not shown for them.
• License checks no longer depend on the per-device switch in the billing portal. Deactivating a key there does not free a seat for another device and no longer locks out your own device. Use License → Revoke Device to move a seat.
• More reliable saving of the "start at sign-in" setting on macOS and Linux.
• New text is translated into all 19 languages.

SoraFiles Desktop 0.1.1

SoraFiles Desktop 0.1.1 brings a preview canvas, fuller tool options, a calmer workspace, clearer Revoke Device verification and new prices.

• Preview canvas: a single image shows a live preview with a movable crop frame (drag it, drag a corner, or use the arrow keys). A PDF shows its pages; in Rotate, Remove pages, Split, PDF to JPG, Page numbers and Watermark you can click pages to choose them. Several files show a thumbnail grid.
• Resize image now matches the website: crop ratios (Free, Original, 1:1 and common portrait and landscape sizes), size by pixels or percentage, keep aspect ratio, and fit inside, fill and crop, pad (white, black or transparent) or stretch.
• Edit image adds crop and vertical flip.
• Compress PDF has the website's strength levels. Higher strength recompresses photos inside the PDF; text, vector graphics, links and forms are not changed. An unchanged copy is saved if no smaller result is found.
• Protect PDF can turn off printing, copying and editing, with a separate permissions password.
• Doc scanner exports PDF, JPG or PNG, and can make the PDF text searchable (OCR) in a chosen language.
• Each tool accepts only the file types it supports: the file dialog is filtered, and unsupported files are marked and never processed.
• Optional star ratings: after a few successful uses, a tool may ask for a quick 1–5 star rating. Ratings are anonymous, can be changed, and are shared with the tool's rating on sorafiles.com.
• Calmer workspace: selected files take the main area, with one options panel and a single primary action.
• Revoke Device never sends email by itself. Enter the email you used for your purchase and press Send code; SoraFiles checks it against your purchase before any code is sent. Resend waits for a short cooldown, and errors say exactly what went wrong.
• New prices: Personal $1.99/month, $19.99/year or $99.99 lifetime (1 device); Team $9.99/month, $99.99/year or $399.99 lifetime (up to 5 devices). Revoke fees: Personal $0.99, $0.99 or $19.99; Team $3.99, $3.99 or $79.99 per occupied seat. Unused Team seats activate for free.
• Revoke Device can be cancelled before payment. Cancel revocation checks with the payment provider first: nothing is charged unless payment is completed.
• Compress image opens a small settings card: choose quality and an optional maximum width.
• Fixed a rare "failed to acquire webview reference" error after launching SoraFiles twice in quick succession.
• Clear selection also dismisses previous results and their Open buttons. Saved files are kept.
• Improved Windows Explorer installation, file selection and conditional restart handling; updated macOS and Linux file-manager integration.
• Automatic seven-day trial starts on first app launch on Windows, macOS and Linux.
• Follows the operating system language, with 19 language choices in Settings (including every new tool option) and English fallback for unsupported languages.
