ARRA Relic Scan 26.10.26-alpha.753
Which model answered, and how many tokens, per session.
meta/sessions.parquethas new columns:models(the models that answered, most answers first),model_msgs(their answer counts),in_tokens,out_tokens,cache_read_tokens,cache_write_tokens, summed over each session's API responses, each response once. Month rows gainin_tokens,cache_readandcache_writebesideout_tokens. Claude Code and omp record them; Codex has the model but no token counts. Months indexed before this version read NULL for the new row columns until their files are read again.meta/vaults/*.json,meta/vaults.jsonandmap.htmlare written to a temp file and renamed, and the vaults folder is never emptied, so a reader no longer catches a half-written file (#73).- Terminal links:
relic-scan opsprints clickable links to the hub and the page; inrelic-scan tui,oopens the page on the selected session, repo or folder (--mouse: click a row, click it again).RELIC_LINKS=offorNO_COLORturns the links off. relic-scan opssays "manual (no loop)" instead of a next-pass time when no LaunchAgent or systemd timer runs the chain.- A Thai step-by-step guide book is in
book/on thealphabranch (it is not onmain).
Downloads: macOS Apple silicon and Intel .dmg, Linux .deb and .AppImage.
ARRA Relic Scan 26.10.24-alpha.947
Closed months are sealed.
When a month closes (before the current Bangkok month), the first run that sees it seals it: meta/months.json records sealed_at, sealed_rows and sealed_keys (a hash of the month's row keys), and the month file is made read-only. If a late row ever lands in a closed month, the month seals again and resealed counts it, so a change is visible, not silent. relic-scan seals lists the months and relic-scan seals --verify reads every sealed month again and exits 1 if one changed since its seal.
No re-index is needed: the next relic-scan run seals the closed months. Months from earlier releases keep working.
macOS Apple silicon and Intel .dmg, Linux .deb and .AppImage below; the CLI installs with install.sh (REF=v26.10.24-alpha.947 for this tag).
v26.10.24-alpha.2025
Fixes relic-scan ops | head (a closed pipe now ends the command quietly instead of panicking on Linux).
Downloads: macOS Apple silicon and Intel .dmg, Linux .deb and .AppImage.
ARRA Relic Scan 26.10.24-alpha.1548
Activity: what the relic chain is doing right now. relic-scan ops (--watch, --json, --no-hub), an Activity view in the page and the app (/ops), and tab 6 in relic-scan tui: the pass in flight with its stages, times against typical times and an ETA, the running processes, the hub's status and the S3 job.
ARRA Relic Scan 26.10.24-alpha.1312
relic-scan export --to s3://bucket/prefix --list: what the store holds, one line per month (rows, dates, size, sha256, seal). It reads meta/months.json and export-manifest.json there and lists nothing.
ARRA Relic Scan 26.10.24-alpha.1255
The S3 copy in the app (Export view: Check against S3, Send sealed months) and in the terminal (relic-scan tui, view 5: c checks, s sends). Keys come from the environment or ~/.config/relic-scan/s3.env (mode 600); the destination is set in Settings.
ARRA Relic Scan 26.10.24-alpha.1234
Copy the sealed months to S3: relic-scan export --to s3://bucket/prefix.
Works with AWS S3, Garage and MinIO. It sends every sealed month, meta/months.json (the seals) and an export-manifest.json. The endpoint and keys come from the environment (RELIC_S3_ENDPOINT, AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID, AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY), never the command line. Each object stores its sha256, so a re-run sends nothing that is already there; a sealed month that differs in the store is refused unless --overwrite; --dry-run only looks; --verify compares the store with your files. Plain http is allowed only to this machine or the tailnet.
The copy can be queried where it lies: DuckDB's read_parquet('s3://bucket/prefix/*/2026-09.parquet') (httpfs) reads it with no download.
macOS Apple silicon and Intel .dmg, Linux .deb and .AppImage below; the CLI installs with install.sh (REF=v26.10.24-alpha.1234 for this tag).
ARRA Relic Scan 26.10.24-alpha.1
Every session says where it ran, what it is called, and which channel it came in by.
meta/sessions.parquet gains cwd (where the session began), title (its newest custom-title), branch, version, and via, chat, from_user: the channel plugin, room and sender of the session's first channel message (Discord, Telegram, a fleet bridge). A hub can filter by working folder and by channel, the way relic3's search --cwd / --via / --chat / --from-user did.
Older indexes have these columns empty until each file is read again: move ~/.relic-scan aside and run relic-scan run. Also in the last releases: the model columns (model, msg_id, out_tokens), meta/months.json, Codex .jsonl.zst archives, and months written in batches.
macOS Apple silicon and Intel .dmg, Linux .deb and .AppImage below; the CLI installs with install.sh (REF=v26.10.24-alpha.1 for this tag).
relic-scan v26.10.23
First CalVer release of relic-scan: one Rust binary that indexes every AI-agent transcript on this machine into one Parquet file per Bangkok month, with a local page, a terminal UI and a desktop app.
New in this release
- Check changes (
relic-scan run --dry-run, the page's button): scans and shows what an index would read (new, grown, rewritten, gone, GB). Nothing is written to the index. - Scan log (
~/.relic-scan/_scans.jsonl): every index and check is recorded with the files it changed. Shown on the Scan log page and in Recent scans, and byrelic-scan log [--diff N]. - Live output: the page streams the server's own output during a run or check, in a popup that can be minimised.
- Stop: ends a run or check during the walk or parse with nothing written.
- Smart Scan:
- a contents donut of rows by kind, with hover;
- a detail popup: kind of
.jsonl, where the file lives, agent, and months stacked by kind; - stats for rows, sessions, files, newest row and span.
- ⌘K search over views, actions, sessions, repos, homes, every
.jsonlpath, scans and filters. Results can:- open the file's folder in Finder;
- copy the resume command;
- check or index just that path.
- Date ranges:
run --month 2026-10,--day,--from/--to. Each range is written into its own folder, which keeps its range. - Look and feel: a /hallmark and /impeccable pass on the sidebar and Smart Scan, in light and dark.

ARRA Relic Scan v26.10.23-alpha.923
Pre-release on the alpha channel.
New since v26.10.23-alpha.906
- ARRA Relic Scan: the desktop app has its new name. The sidebar brand reads ARRA RELIC over scan. The command is still
relic-scan, and the app keeps its data (same bundle identifier). - Installer: a drag-to-Applications
.dmg, with the app on the left, Applications on the right and a light background (the Oracle Pulse layout). It is attached below once built. - Export (⇩ export, top right): what the view shows, one line each, as CSV or JSON.
- The JSON carries the export time, the view and the query.
- Saved to
~/Downloadsand shown in Finder. - Over 20,000 lines, Open the meta folder shows the full tables instead.
- Scan log: fixed, even columns with numbers right-aligned, one-line results ("would read 2 files", "+545 rows"), and "1 file".
Install
