Added

  • Add the experimental SwiftDecisionGLiNER product and GLiNER SwiftPM trait for local GLiNER 2.5 Small Core ML inference on iOS 17+ and macOS 14+. The backend supports Noul, Choice, and Score through the existing decision engine.
  • Add optional canonical ordering for Choice options; caller ordering remains the default.
  • Publish a separately downloaded, checksummed Core ML INT8 model distribution with license notices and provenance. Model weights are not included in the package.

The GLiNER classifier is experimental, English-oriented, and its scores are not calibrated probabilities. See setup and limitations and the model asset.

The backend and packaging passed their PR checks. The Oracle TestFlight pilot installed and ran the model on an iPhone, including a Choice query in airplane mode; this is not a general accuracy or performance guarantee.
